Hello there my loveys!
I took some pics of my collection to show on another forum I'm a member of, and decided I needed to show all my wonderful blog followers up to date pics, so without much fuss, here they are. A post from a guest blogger, Jackie Clark
This lovely lady approached me to ask if I'd be willing to host her as a guest here on my blog. I was only too happy to agree, as her subject matter is something near to my heart. It has affected just about every member of my family including me personally, in it's various evil forms. Whilst most of us are survivors, my father died from it. What am I talking about? Cancer. Anyway, without further ado, here is Jackie's post. Thank you Jackie, very much for this.
Polished Beauty: Pamper Yourself With Ease
By: Jackie Clark
Despite the circumstances many woman are faced with throughout their lives, it is important to remember that feeling beautiful, inside and out, can build strength and confidence. Paying special attention to both inner and outer beauty can be particularly beneficial to women who may be facing a cancer diagnosis, such as mesothelioma. Whether you decide to wear that sexy black dress over the usual slacks or try out a new hairstyle, making the choice to focus on yourself and feel beautiful may be just what the doctor ordered.
Painted nails are one of the best ways to spruce up your everyday style with ease. Painting your nails can allow you to relax in the quiet of your thoughts, while simultaneously enhancing your digits. For creative individuals, nail polish can almost be a form of art. Experiment with bold solid colors or intricate designs and find your inner artist. Whether you produce ten flawless miniature renditions of 'Starry Night', or even just ten stars, you will feel prettier and more accomplished in no time. Plus, when all of your friends are dying to know where you got your nails done, you can smile proudly and say you did them yourself!
The most important thing to remember when undergoing treatment and facing a prognosis is that your beautiful self is not alone. Your friends and family members are there for moral support and guidance through this difficult time. Polishing each other’s nails can be a fun way to spend a good chunk of time with a loved one and is especially beneficial for those who have difficulty painting their own nails. Professional manicures can also be a good option when looking to get the optimal look in a relaxing environment. While not as cozy as swapping manicures with a best friend or loved one, getting a professional manicure can be just as gratifying. Chat with your friendly nail technician or simply sit back, relax, and enjoy being pampered for once! Forget doctors, treatments, and diagnosis for a day and combine a manicure with a trip to the spa or salon for a gratifying experience that's sure to leave you feeling revived and beautiful.
Facing cancer head on is a daunting task, but that is no reason to give up. Don’t let it affect your daily routines and self-esteem. Keeping hope along the way is important. Feeling confident is a boost in morale and a motivator to keep battling. Do whatever you can to look and feel good about yourself and the road to recovery will be much smoother ride.

Home-made holos, here I come!
Hi loveys! I'm starting to get so excited! I'm nearly ready to start experimenting with frankening. I've never done it before in my life, and I decided if I'm going to do it, I'm gonna do it properly, so it's taken me a while to get the things I need(oh to be a millionare!)
So far I've bought a bunch of empty bottles - 42 to be precise. I got a huge order of nail polish from Nailite - 50 different colours (I so don't care if I screw up with the price I paid for these!) I've been buying a couple of grams of SpectraFlair here and there so I can attempt to make holo's (I'm sure you all know what a sucker I am for linear holo's!). I now have 6 grams of the SF14, and 2 grams of the SF35. Lori, thank you, thank you, thank you!
I've just been on TKB Trading and I purchased 1 pint of the Luster Base(the clear base you use when you want to add colours or holo pigments to make your polish the type you want) I bought a bunch of pigment samples, including 5 or 6 that sound like absolutely gorgeous multichromes...oh boy, oh boy, oh boy - I'm like a kid at Christmas!
I want to buy another 2 grams of the SF before I start. Please don't ask me why I feel the need to have 10 grams of it, I have absolutely no idea. I guess because it's a nice round figure, and that way I'll have more than enough??? There may be a method to my madness, but in this case I'm not too sure what, lol!
It's my birthday in about 3 weeks, I'll be the big 'four ohhhhhh' and I've been hinting at my hubby for cash...that way I can buy the rest of my SF, some more rhinestones, nail art flowers, nail art books(for inspiration)striping tape, you get the general idea! I'm sure you all know how it is,,,it's so hard to decide, Coach bag? Shoes? Clothes? Jewelry? Nail stuff? Again, if only we were millionares and I could buy it all, lol! I shouldn't complain, I have a lot of nice things. But I always want more, lol!
Anyway my lovey's. I'm going to call this post quits. I'll see you all soon, make sure you come back and visit me again! Take care and be safe. Loads of love! xoxoxo
