Water decals

Hello my lovelies! Today I thought I'd tell you about one of my favourite nail art items, water decals. These amazing decals are way too underrated. Most people have never even heard of them, and yet they are way better than regular decals, which are coming off before you even put them on! Why is it that these little decals get so little notice and are so unpopular? Why is it that hardly any company's  out there are bothering to make them? I've been using these kind of decals for a while now. Granted, they take a bit of getting used to. Granted, they're very fiddly. But once you've put them, on the first thing is that you can't feel them. They are completely flat on the nail. The other thing is, they're not going anywhere until you do another manicure. These decals don't get the attention they deserve, and it's such a shame. I thought I'd put some pics to go with this post, so you can all see how lovely they are. I really want to see a much better variety, and I want to see them made by American companies, and sold by Sally's, Ulta, etc. Anyway, that's my little rant! Thanks for reading! Here's the pics:

  2. They are fun! They last way longer than the regular decals too. Most I've mine I ordered off the bay from sellers in China, Vietnam, Japan, etc. One of the sellers that I bought most of mine from no longer sells them though. I wish they were more popular over here, I really do. They take a bit of getting used to, but they're fantastic.

  4. You really should give them a go. Once you're used to them, they're fabulous.

  5. I got some from Born Pretty and you're right, they do lay very flat and stay on really well. I had some trouble getting them on but probably I just need more practice.

  6. Hi Karen! You're right, they do take a bit of practice getting used to, they're pretty fiddly. But once you've gotten the hang of it, you're pretty much good to go! I love 'em. Even once I become a nail tech I'm not going to be able to do a majority of my own nail art. Water marbling, yes, and maybe some simple stuf, but I'n not ambidexterous, so I'm not going to be able to do the nail art on my nails. Such a shame! These'll do nicely though, as long as I have a good supply source!
